Abstract:

The use of ICT is one of the strategies to facilitate meaningful teaching and learning and enhance adequate communication between instructors and learners. It is, therefore, pertinent that ICT is properly defined especially with respect to its useful role in promoting effective communication in the classroom. This will lead to its wider utilization beyond the educational sector. Thus, this work examined the Utilization of ICT among Economics Education Students in Nigeria. This was achieved by examining the applicability of ICT for effective teaching and learning in universities in South-East Nigeria.
