Abstract:

Risks are indispensible factor for the development of software projects currently and also by its effects lots of projects been failed. Risk can, however, be reduced, stewarded, and managed in harmony with good planning and assessment. By the understanding that a significant portion of projects failures could be related to a poor risk management, risk management is one of disciplines related to project management, and its usage becomes increasingly necessary as the size and complexity of software grow. In this paper, we have considered the four ‘P’ factors of project management. These are; people, product, process and project. Risks related to these four factors are identified then we assess these risks and respond to the risks accordingly.
