THE EFFECT OF ZIRCONIUM AND TITANIUM ADDITION IN PROPERTIES OF BASIC BRICK

Abstract:

 

The effect of TiO2- and ZrO2 -additions on the physical and mechanical properties of Magnesia refractories is evaluated in terms of a phase evolution as a function of the sintering temperature. According to the result spinel and perovskite phases in the bonding matrix contributes to superior physical and mechanical properties of magnesia refractory.
