Abstract:

Cloud computing is becoming more popular in the recent years as it provides platform for the several monitoring and controlling applications over the internet. On the other hand the wireless sensor networks have been seen as one of the most essential technologies in the 21st century. This paper proposes a novel architecture based on cloud computing for wireless sensor network, which can improve the lifetime of WSN. The Wireless Sensors are distributed spatially and are connected to other sensor nodes to form sensor network for the data sharing is known as the wireless sensor network. Energy efficiency is a critical issue in the sensor network as they have only limited battery power which reduces the network lifetime. Therefore, one of the important constraints for wireless sensor network is the network lifetime, which is highly dependent on the physical topology of the network. The other constraints are the data routing and security in accessing data. In this paper we have used the algorithmic approach to maximizing the network lifetime by optimizing the base station location and to optimize the data routing among the sensor nodes. The cloud computing has been integrated to address the security and the easy access of data.
